Digital Artifact: An overview.

Welcome to my digital artifact for ICT & Digital Literacies, whose aim is to provide my opinion and interesting resources regarding the use of Information, Communications and Technologies (ICT) for teaching purposes. I have decided to give an overview of what it means and involves having ICT in the curriculum, as I believe that in the current educational context at a global level, it is necessary to provide our students with the best opportunities to develop their skills which will help them in their daily and academic lives. 

The structure of this DA have been planned under this criteria: there are some concepts that must be addressed before moving to the discussion about why it is important to have ICT in the school curriculum; concepts such a digital literacies, ICT, and my personal skills on this matter; on later posts I will discussed how these concepts are related to the education field.

Finally, I did choose Blogger as the platform to present my digital artifact because blogs were part of the formative assessment of the module, and I find it a very good way to share personal and other kind of information with the rest of the digital community. My personal chanllenge in this assignment was to create a Powtoon and embed resources from other platforms on the blog.
